The concept was created with the various talents of the founding business partners in mind. Each individual brought a certain “artisan” quality to cultivate the unique latin experience that has become ARTESANO today.

OUR NAME

The name Artesano came to be, as we looked around at our team and saw a group of Artisans excelling in their various crafts. We knew that every aspect of our restaurant concept needed to be executed in an elegant and deliberate way, from the corn husk installation above our bar, to our stone plates handmade and imported from Peru.

In just one bite, you are able to taste the sentiments and nostalgia from a fusion of continents. Peruvian gastronomy holds something that other cuisines lack, in that its influence and inclusiveness has opened the door for the marriages of many cultures and thus have ingrained themselves into the Peruvian gastronomic experience.

Above all else, we pride ourselves on the notion that the Peruvian kitchen is not static. Peru has been chosen as the best culinary destination of the world for over a decade and this is no coincidence, as Peruvians have never been afraid of pushing the limits and experimenting in the kitchen.

This is a delicate dance they have mastered, because of their respect for the process, product, seasons and ecosystems that Peru has to offer.
